AMES, Iowa – Aug. 2, 2019 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for a proposed culvert project on U.S. 59 approximately 0.1 mile north of Osceola County Road A-18.
The proposed project will consist of replacing the existing 14’ x 20’ concrete slab bridge with a twin 8’ x 10’ x 78’ culvert.
Through traffic would be detoured during construction using Iowa Highway 9 and Iowa Highway 60. For more information, see the website listed below.
The project is scheduled to take place during 2020.
