New Castle — I-95 / SR 896 INTERCHANGE – ; UPCOMING CLOSURES
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces daytime lane closures on northbound I-95 for barrier relocation and surveying (Tuesday and Wednesday); overnight multi-lane closure on northbound I-95 (Thursday) and overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound SR 896 for sidewalk work (Wednesday and Thursday). There will also be overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound SR 72 for pavement striping (Monday through Wednesday).

Tuesday July 29: Daytime and overnight lane closure, NB I-95 from Toll Plaza to SR 896 Interchange (9AM – ; 6AM)
Wednesday July 30: Daytime lane closure, NB I-95 from Toll Plaza to Service Plaza (9AM -3PM)
Thursday July 31: Overnight multi-lane closure, NB I-95 from Toll Plaza to Service Plaza (11PM – ; 5AM)
SR 896 IMPACTS
Wednesday July 30 and Thursday July 31: Overnight lane closure, NB and SB SR 896 between I-95 Interchange and Welsh Tract Road (10PM – ; 5AM)
SR 72 IMPACTS
Monday July 28 through Wednesday July 31: Overnight lane closure, NB and SB SR 72 between Old Baltimore Pike and Blue Hen Drive (7PM – ; 6AM)
UPCOMING RAMP CLOSURE
