Newark — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that the speed limit on northbound and southbound I-95 between the toll plaza and the I95 Service Area will be reduced from 65 mph to 55 mph beginning on or about December 28, 2023 and remain in effect until the completion the interchange construction project.
The speed reduction is being implemented to mitigate the potential for crashes during the construction of the new I-95/SR 896 Interchange.
