Newark — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that starting the evening of June 17 and continuing around the clock to July 1, the dedicated right turn lane from southbound Route 896 to westbound Old Baltimore Pike will be closed for concrete paving. Right turns will be allowed from the right-most through lane, but congestion is expected. Additionally, there will be daytime lane closures on northbound I-95 for truck access, overnight multi-lane closures on northbound and southbound I-95 for bridge overhang installation (Southbound high-speed EZPass lanes will be affected), and overnight lane closures on southbound Route 896 for concrete paving.
