Dover — The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) encourages Delawareans to verify if their driver license (DL) or identification card (ID) is REAL ID compliant before the May 7, 2025, deadline which the US Department of Homeland Security has confirmed will not be extended.
Verification is quick and easy. If a star is present in the upper right-hand corner of a driver license or ID, it is a REAL ID and federally compliant. [More]
