Proposed Improvements to U.S. 18 to be discussed in Garner on March 23, 2023

AMES, Iowa – March 13, 2023 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a virtual and in person public information meeting to discuss the proposed widening and resurfacing of U.S. 18 from the East Branch Iowa River Bridge to Country Club Drive in Garner in Hancock County.

In-person meeting:

When: March 23, 2023 between 5 and 6:30 pm

Location: Garner City Hall, 135 W 5th St., in Garner

Description: Iowa DOT staff will be present to discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made. The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, if you require special accommodations at the meeting, please notify the contact listed below by March 20.

When: Anytime between March 23 (around Noon) – April 3, 2023
