Dover — The Department of Transportation announces it will begin maintenance repairs beginning September 29 on the concrete surface of Route 1 between Dover and Smyrna, which will result in intermittent lane closures over the next several weeks. The project, which is part of a larger contract, will cost approximately $400,000. Work crews from George & Lynch will begin patching the northbound lanes first, starting south of the Dover Toll Plaza and gradually working north toward Smyrna. [More]
