AMES, Iowa – April 13, 2020 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for a proposed culvert project on U.S. 6 over a drainage ditch, 0.2 miles east of County Road T-12 in Jasper County.

The proposed project will consist of replacing the existing bridge with a twin 12’ x 12’ culvert.

Through traffic would be detoured during construction using Iowa Speedway Dr., Interstate 80, and Iowa 224. For more information, see the website listed below.

The project is scheduled to take place during 2021.
