AMES, Iowa – Feb. 5, 2018, 9 a.m. – The Iowa Department of Transportation is reporting that Interstate 35/80 from Merle Hay Road to the east mixmaster (exit 137A – Ankeny) is closed in both directions this morning.
Emergency crews are on scene to evaluate possible hazardous materials issues related to a traffic incident.
Motorists are being directed to use I-235 or the Iowa 5 bypass.
