MEMPHIS –– Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam joined Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons to help officially open the new Tennessee Driver Service Center on Shelby Drive with a ceremony Thursday afternoon in Memphis. State and local elected officials, Department of Safety and Homeland Security staff, and members of the community also joined in opening the new, larger state facility.
