Dover — The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is reminding all Delaware Commercial Driver License holders that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has established new medical certification guidelines that apply to all commercial driver license (CDL) holders and applicants. A deadline of January 30, 2014 has been set to meet the certification standard. All current CDL holders and new applicants are required to self-certify their driving status as outlined by the FMSCA regulation (49 CFR @ 383.71 (h)). [More]
