(Kent County) The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is inviting the public to attend the open house celebration commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Department. Hosted by Transportation Secretary Jennifer Cohan, the event will be held at the DelDOT Administration Building, 800 Bay Road, Dover, on Wednesday, May 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Entrance to the Open House will be from the north visitors’ entrance facing Bay Road and the public is invited to roam through both levels of the main atrium and adjoining rooms viewing displays, archival photographs depicting the history of DelDOT, artifacts, and tools, as well as vintage and classic vehicles which will be parked in the rear of the Administration Building.
