Dover — The Delaware Department of Transportation will be on the road, in the air, on the air, and working around-the-clock this Memorial Day weekend to ensure safe and convenient travel for motorists on the State’s roadways. Summer 2001 will revive several significant weapons in the war against traffic congestion. The newest section of State Route 1 between the C & D Canal and Odessa will be in its second summer season of service, and will continue to provide relief from traditional “choke-points” at Boyd’s Corner and Route 299 in Odessa.
