AMES, Iowa – June 1, 2021 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for a proposed bridge replacement on Iowa 15 over Lotts Creek, approximately 8.5 miles north of Highway 18 and 0.5 mile south of Fenton in Kossuth County.
The proposed project involves replacing the existing 60’ x 24’ single span, steel I-beam bridge with a 14’ x 14’ x 106’ box culvert. The project will also involve shoulder reconstruction.
Construction of the project is expected to begin in 2023.
Through traffic on Iowa 15 would be detoured using U.S. 18, Kossuth County Road P-20 and B-19. For more information, see the website listed below.
