AMES, Iowa – July 22, 2020 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for proposed culvert repairs under U.S. 59 south of Denison.

The project includes repairing roadway concrete pipe culverts in five locations from 1.45 miles north of Crawford County Road E-54 to 1.5 miles north of Crawford County Road E-53. Some locations will require additional right of way for the culverts and drainage.

Construction of the project is expected to begin in 2022.

Through traffic on U.S. 59 will be maintained at all times. For more information, see the website listed below.
