Department of Transportation | Temporary Lane Closure on Kuhio Highway on Tuesday, Nov. 26

LIHUE — The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) notifies Kauai motorists that there will be a temporary, single lane closure of the right lane on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) near Ahukini Road (close to Hilo Hattie’s) in the northbound direction on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow Hawaiian Telcom technicians to complete emergency repair work.

Traffic control will be on site to assist motorists with merging into the open lane. The right lane will re-open as soon as work is completed.
