Newark — Despite an increase in traffic volumes through both the manual and E-ZPass lanes from previous years, there were no reported delays at the I-95 Toll Plaza in Newark for the entire Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. On the nation’s most traveled weekend, where toll plaza traffic backups had in the past reached for miles, the newly reconstructed design of the I-95 toll plaza virtually eliminated all delays.
