Dover — During the Memorial Day weekend, 1,222,484 motorists passed through Delaware’s three toll plaza locations on I-95 in Newark, SR 1 at Biddles Corner, and SR 1 in Dover. From Thursday, May 26 through Monday, May 30, the I-95 Newark Plaza served 511,521 vehicles; 349,727 vehicles were served at SR 1 Biddles Corner; and 361,236 at Dover’s SR 1 Plaza. It is estimated that over $ 3.2 million was collected in tolls during the five-day period at Delaware’s toll plazas.
