Winter Weather Impacts Train Schedules by
The winter storm in North Carolina is affecting train schedules. Friday, Jan. 22 North Carolina Trains The Piedmont trains between Charlotte and Raleigh are operating on a normal schedule. Carolinian trains 79 and 80 are operating on a normal schedule within North Carolina. Amtrak Long-Distance Trains Silver Star trains 91 and 92 are not operating between Washington, D.C. and Jacksonville, Fla. Silver Meteor trains 97 and 98 are canceled. Palmetto trains 89 and 90 are operating as normal within North Carolina. Saturday, Jan. 23 North Carolina Trains Piedmont train 73 is canceled. Piedmont trains 74, 75 and 76 will operate on normal schedule. Carolinian train 80 is canceled. Carolinian train 79 will only operate between Raleigh and Charlotte. Amtrak Long-Distance Trains Silver Meteor trains 97 and 98 are canceled. Silver Star trains 91 and 92 are canceled. Palmetto trains 89 and 90 are canceled. Crescent trains 19 and 20 are canceled.
