NASHVILLE — Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons will welcome Governor Bill Haslam as keynote speaker for the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s annual Memorial Service on Friday, May 20, 2011. THP Colonel Tracy Trott, THP Command staff, active and retired State Troopers, legislators and survivors of fallen officers will also be on hand to commemorate 39 Tennessee State Troopers, as well as more than 19,000 officers in the United States, who have died in the line of duty.
