Dover — Department of Transportation (DelDOT) Secretary Carolann Wicks, was joined today by Senator Tom Carper, Dover Mayor Carleton Carey, and local business leaders in celebrating the opening of the Dover Transit Hub and the recent completion of the South Governors Avenue reconstruction project. The Dover Transit Hub is located on Water Street, between Queen and West Streets, just three blocks west of the former transit hub location. The $4,450,000 project was funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), which provided 38 local jobs during its construction. [More]
